Meet-up at the Museum

Field trip to the Mayborn Museum in Waco today! I've been looking forward to this. Air conditioned age appropriate fun :-) Unfortunately, Madalyn crashed on the concrete before we even got in the museum and scraped her nose :-( Mommy-guilt or whatever you want to call it had a hold on me for most of the morning. Stupid satan. But she had a good time anyway! She was very into the train set up they have at the beginning of the hall, and ventured back to it several times. I think trains will become very recognizable now. She also totally enjoyed the water room, where she kept her hands in the moving water for a long time playing with a rubber ducky (who she quacked at faithfully). She was very friendly towards all of her friends. The three little girls in the photo below were all born within 2 weeks of each other - the little boy is about a month and half younger.
It was difficult to keep her away from staircases, though - which is, of course, how she took the tumble earlier. Guess this is what happens when you pray that your baby girl will not fear - she turns out to be brave!!
