I'm not going to lie to our readers - first birthdays are a lot of emotional work for mamas. I'm exhausted. But Madalyn enjoyed her party and delighted in her cupcake (there was no evidence of it left on her highchair - but plenty on her face and hands!) Happy Birthday, Madalyn!
