As you know, Jason really wants to be teaching. This past TAMFT conference was spent as the last several conferences we have attended were spent - networking and job searching for Jason. The question has continued to hang over us - 'where will Jason work? Where will we live?' In pursuit of an answer to this question, Jason sent out a 'feeler' email to the UMHB (university of mary hardin baylor - small Christian campus about 6 minutes from our house) graduate counseling program. And then......he got a response asking if he'd be interested in taking over an undergrad course that an adjunct had to bail out of mid-semester (due to illness). So! Dr. Northrup will re-enter the classroom (agreement on terms pending) and finish out a Developmental Psychology course at UMHB. The great thing about this is that he's already taught that course, so the prep will be minimal! The next great thing about it is that they're offering to pay him a lot more than we anticipated! So here we are, blessed. Jason will get to do what he's been wanting to do, get his foot in the door at the school just down the street for a potential full time job and supplement our income. Now I'm wondering... could this be the beginning of the end of wondering if we're going to leave? Could this be the beginning of really 'settling' somewhere? I want what God wants... but that would be really, really nice.
And of course, here's a pictures of Madalyn :-) Two hairbows - super cute, isn't she?

I am praying for you, Darling... And so excited! :)
I hope this is the beginning of settling somewhere for you. What a great opportunity and a potential answer to prayer.
That is awesome! Good things for good people!
