Lots of fun at the lake for us this past Saturday! Madalyn continues to love everything about it - the water, the sand, the snacks... and the friends waiting to be made. There was another family there with a little girl sitting in the sand playing with sandtoys. Madalyn grabbed a few of her own, sat with her, and shared. We think she may have a little of Aunt Evie in her ;-)
She also floated! She threw her legs up and said, "look Daddy, I'm floating like a boat!" We're impressed with the promise she's displaying for swim skills :-) 
I read my Mrs. Lincoln book and enjoyed a cooler temperature lakeside. It was a wonderful morning for the Northrups :-)
