It's way better than a bed and breakfast, actually :-) We are so glad that April and Dustin live in Abilene if they can't live in Temple. This means we get to stay with them and visit and let Brayden, Brooklyn and Madalyn get to know each other as they grow up (too fast!!)!
Madalyn loved being chased by Brayden before bed, and she really honed her running skills during the exercise (sheesh!). We had dinner with Tim and Anne, too - which was a fun surprise (for both of us ;-) )! 
We also got to attend our old church Sunday morning - the one where we were married. It's such a blessing to attend a place where you were taught for so many years. Jason especially enjoyed the experience. Pastor David McQueen was his pastor for 6 years through his college years and masters degree. It's neat how we develop a kind of special relationship with those who share their spiritual growth and journeys with us as they shepherd and teach us through scripture.
