Our evening started out with a little bit of disappointment... for me, anyway. We arrived at Barnes and Noble, dressed up and ready for storytime - only to discover we had missed it. Fortunately, Madalyn was unaffected by this news and found the Sesame Street books. As she took her time removing each title and pointing to the characters, she took a moment out to dance about her good fortune. It was a special moment :-)
Then we took our little cow around the culdesak! She caught on very quickly and happily approached the doors. She also quickly became interested in what people were placing in her pail. She recognized the suckers!!
And, of course, Dallas dressed up, too. Batman!!
When it got dark we hastily departed our neighborhood (we ran out of candy!) and went to Leslie's street, where Madalyn trick or treated some more.
