We loved AAMFT! So many things to love about it - a weekend getaway for us as a couple. Lots and lots of fabulous friends to visit with! Really nice hotel, and really nice restaurants. And all of my sessions were informative and fabulous (not everyone liked all of theirs, but the odds are always more in your favor at the national conference as opposed to the state one).

One problem people ran into was having sessions hijacked by the audience. This only happened to me in one session, and although I started it (by asking a good question, not a bad one like most instances) it wasn't my fault. The presenter took my question and related it to this 'fabulous poster she saw in the poster session about internet gaming addiction...". Yep, that would be Jason's poster she's talking about. So Jason hijacked my session ;-)
Jason's poster was a big hit during the poster session - he didn't have a down moment. People stopped to discuss his research with him the entire time.

And we snuck away one afternoon to do something Atlanta-esque? and saw 'Underground Atlanta'. It's the restored section of Atlanta that they built over when dealing with railroads and cars at the same time got to be too much. Here I am standing next to a statue of a bear. Unfortunately, we did not read the historical marker very closely and I'm not sure I understand what a muzzled bear is doing in Underground Atlanta.

It was fun and we did great leaving Madalyn with my mom! They also had a fabulous time from what I gather, and Madalyn has already informed me she wants Nana to come back :-) She's still happy to see us though - she squealed and did a little running dance when she reunited with Jason at the airport :-) Nothing like a returning Daddy!!

It was so great to spend time with you both. Will you send me a copy of that photo? Please.
