This is seriously how Dallas now prefers to ride when we travel. Although we happily devote the entire back half of the station wagon to him, and even gave him the backseat with a blanket when he made it clear he would no longer ride all the way in the back, and he still manages to select the space between the drivers seat and Madalyn's carseat. And then he wants his head in her lap, as pictured.
Madalyn found this preference of Dallas's hilarious initially - which we were not terribly happy about since she was cackling/squealing about it at about 10pm, but eventually she was annoyed and began yelling: 'No Das! Move! You sit wight der Das!" (pointing to the actual back seat bench we had prepared for him).All of this has transpired since we have begun making many trips to and from Dallas as Brisy's cancer progresses. She is no longer conscious, but sleeping and on pain medication. We are heartbroken and continue to be blessed by and appreciate your prayers.
